Latin-inspired dishes

These were taken a while back when a friend and I went to have lunch at a Latin-influenced restaurant called Sonora. But I thought iId share them anyway since the food just looks too yummy! What I really liked about this restaurant is how everything is cooked just right. the lobster was perfect, and so was the braised beef.

either my latino classmates (chilean, colombian, bolivian) were all terrible cooks or i just don't get latin cuisine. what's good is they always had salads and good wine, but the main stuff was blah. one dish i'm interested to try in the future is the black dish of saugage, beans and beef shanks from brazil. (did you know that filipinos can enter brazil without a visa? why don't we meet up there? tara!) 😛
