San Nicolas cookies and sampaguitas

dude, this is scary. you said you just had lumpia and then you posted the desserts. well, guess what i’m having for a snack? yep, those “blessed” cookes … i don’t know where my parents got them but they had a whole box when i was there over the weekend. since they’re “watching their carbs,” they gave me the cookies to bring to work (we actually have cookie days on fridays). they also gave me a big jar of “sampaguitas,” which they bought in the philippines.

ha.ha. funny i was looking at the lumpia on my plate for lunch and i decided not to take a photo of it anymore because we already have it covered in this blog. he.he.

that is freaky, given that we have a wide range of dishes to choose from, including desserts. but it's still coincidence of course. i'll get freaked out if we ate the same thing whole week. he.he.

my mom just bought the kalame from a lady who sells kakanin. they're a lot of work, i'm sure. it's good enough though it's not christmas quality if you know what i mean.
