i think i owe you a picture of a bangus belly right? i had driving duties for my mom this morning and passed by one of my favorite restaurants (actually a turo-turo carinderia) on earth — aling conching’s. bought bulanglang bangus and paksing bangus for lunch (we were having balatung/monggo at home so fish would be the right partner), and then some sisig and adobong ate (liver) later for dinner.
here (was) the paksing bangus. look at that fatty belly! and of course, you had to mash that green finger chili in patis to serve as sawsawan for the fish 😀 the sour, salty, spicy flavors blend well with the richness of the fatty fish. 🙂
