OK, you're gonna have to dig up that e-mail because i'm not sure what you're referring to (can't believe i never got that e-mail from anybody). is it the “pose” when they're taking photos? or is it how most of the photos almost always include the people on vacation (as opposed to scenery and stuff like that)?

i remember a filipino co-worker of mine who asked another co-worker of ours why his vacation photos didn't include him. and he tried to explain that he knew he was “there”; the photos were so he'll never forget the places he'd visited. i think filipinos take photos as “proofs” they were there, LOL!

ha.ha. that “i was there” mentality is true for asians more than any other race. i remember, our classmates were sniggering and giggling when the three of us filipinos would always ask them to take our photo in a place we visited. guess what, within a year, they also picked up the habit of “picture, picture!” 😀

but that's not the point of this blog post. it's the subject. it's the photographer. there's this email that went around showing how funny asians take photos. they could just simply sand there and adjust the camera settings, right. but no, they will bend way down (some even horizontal) to take the shot 🙂 aaargh, couldn't find the email yet 😦 i'll try googling for it.

HA HA HA, funny! even though, like you said, i've become “immune” to it after years of seeing the tourists in times square 🙂
