can’t get enough of the angry birds

my mom asked, “ali me pa apate ing biik (haven’t you killed the piglet yet)?” that’s because i spent most of my weekend — at least the time i was in NJ — trying to get to the next levels of angry birds. it’s this ipod/iphone puzzle game and the objective is to kill a group of evil pigs that had stolen the birds’ eggs. players use a slingshot to launch the birds at the pigs or the structures they use to protect themselves. it’s addictive. call me violent but i feel a certain satisfaction when i hear those pigs squeal, LOL! it’s fun and i think it’s great, even for kids, because there’s physics and strategy involved.

i learned about this game from my cousin when we were in aruba; she had it in her phone. as soon as i got wifi connection, i downloaded a free version — less than an hour later, i was shelling out a couple of bucks for the full version 😛

ha.ha. last time i was addicted to games was during the playstation era (lose your marbles and crash bandicoot) 😀 good memories.

ha.ha. if only to hear the pig squeal, i'll try to read more about this game online. (i don't have an iphone). kinda waiting for the new release but i'm not sure i'll get one still. i don't need it.

ha.ha. loved the trailer on the link you provided. just curious why the birds didn't eat the mosquito 🙂 but then again, who's heard of pig-killing birds? 😀

try the link i have in the post and watch the “walkthrough” videos to hear the evil piggies squeal (they also taunt you with snorts when you run out of birds to kill them).

i'm not really a huge game player. i used to love first-person shooters and played doom a lot when i first moved to the u.s. these days, it's all about what i have in my ipod. i also play bejeweled blitz on FB … have this ongoing rivalry with a former co-worker 😀

you know, for a really long time all i had was an ipod shuffle and it was really all i needed; i didn't need a thousands of songs, just enough to get me through my workout. these days, i get withdrawal pains when i'm separated from my touch for a period of time, LOL!
