melon akong melon

i wonder if melons (and watermelons) are a good diet food. well, they’re mostly water as i can see (and taste), but they fill up one’s tummy nicely. it’s still quite a few months away from summer, but the melons we get here today are not so bad in terms of size and sweetness.

by the way, here’s your green joke of the day…

boy bastos: “melon ka? di ka pwede pakwan ngayon?” 😛 (sorry, there’s no direct english translation for this language-centric joke.)

it was a corny one, anyway! ha.ha. sorry my brain is on sleep mode. my tummy is just full of water instead of the usual sackful of sinful food it is used to 😀

*chuckles* Okay, if you're trying to keep track of your food intake I am going to suggest two websites. To track your calorie intake is a pretty decent site. It's free, but they flash a bit of advertising at you. I'm willing to live with the advertising.

If you want to figure out the calorie content per serving of your favorite recipes you can go to this site:

Although honestly, you might be a touch depressed when you realize just how bad for you your favorite foods are.
