Pulled pork asado

We had a small potluck at the office recently and somebody brought in the makings for a pulled pork sandwich (this sometimes reminds me of lechon paksiw because of the combination of sweet and sour flavors). When i got home that night, I realized I actually had something in my fridge that could be used for a similar sandwich — asado! Like you, I like my asado “older,” meaning it’s been heated and reheated a number of times such that the oil is already oozing out of the thick sauce. Rice is good, but this pulled pork asado in pan de sal is even better! Man, sopping up that sauce with the bread is heaven.
