actually, kinda surprised at the power of alaxan (the pain reliever manny pacquiao endorses). i took one immediately after the climb, and the muscle and joint pains i was expecting the day after didn't materialize. it doesn't hurt that i did some walking a couple of weeks prior to the climb, though i certainly took my own sweet time in climbing up. my friends were kilometers ahead of me. he.he. and the guide was always by my side. he.he.
were your feet OK after? i noticed you're not wearing hiking boots/shoes, the ones with ankle support, etc. in case you stumble over rocks. or are these what mountaineers are supposed to wear?
people were wearing all sort of footwear, as long as they had good traction. the guides were wearing tsinelas and had no problem 🙂 most people wore sneakers.
looks gorgeous. was it very difficult to climb? did you get down to the lake and swim?
i think you need to create a slide show with voiceover 🙂
