stuffed palitaw

my mom brought home an interesting kakanin (rice delicacy) sold in my niece’s elementary school: stuffed palitaw (rice flour dumpling). normally they are shaped into flat ovals, so i wondered why these were shaped into balls (like buchi and munchkins). she said they were filled with yema. genius! that didn’t stop me from rolling it in sugar still πŸ˜›
