longganisa part deux

i seem to be enjoying the same breakfast as you are 🙂 you mentioned tocino in a previous post and that spurred a craving. unfortunately, there weren’t any at the fil-am store here. but there were packs of longganisa so i went with those instead. they’re the pampanga’s best brand, of course. this one is in a pack, but the version my parents buy in NJ is loose, actually. you’d think it would just be the same, but it’s not. the one in NJ seems fattier — hence, more delicious, HA HA HA! the one i bought here is “siksik” (packed) with meat. i wonder if it’s the market the stores are serving.

anyway, i went with the full filipino breakfast treatment — longganisa, fried rice, salted eggs and tomatoes.

ha.ha. we're second guessing each other 🙂 but gotta admit, that breakfast looks awesome. still too much less rice.

i think you mean something else other than second-guessing, but for the life of me i can't come up with the right word 😛 … anyway, what do you mean less rice?!?!?! HA HA HA! dude, that's already a little more than half a cup (i suddenly got a flashback to kalayaan and asking manong at the dining hall for “half cup lang po”).

i can't remember the phrase either… but it's along the line of thinking parallel. 🙂 half a cup of rice with 3 longganisa and one egg? that's just not right.
