Okwing alamang

don’t these look so crunchy and delicious? small shrimp crispy pancakes are the bomb! they are not exactly like okoy which we blogged here and here, nor are they exactly like, but somehow similar to, the tortang dulong.

these were cooked in simple cornstarch batter, hence the thin crust and the extra crunch.

    so where did you get these? did your mom make them? they look really tasty. with a dip of vinegar, patis and chili?

    these were part of the office christmas party potluck spread. but they're fairly easy to do at home too. just the basic egg and flour batter with salt and pepper. more cornstarch if you want them crispier.
