melon granita

the melon i got from the supermarket was a bit overripe and overly sweet, so it was fit to be made as ice cream more than for munching. turned out to be a blessing, as i made really good granita out of it 🙂 it was also good it didn’t turn bitter after combining it with milk and sugar, as melons are wont to do.

    i may have asked this before, but do you have an ice cream maker? how did you make the granitas?

    nope. we just mix it and put it in the freezer 🙂 then scraped it with a spoon 🙂 hard work but it works 🙂
