kay’s feast

red rice salad

it’s been a while since the agu-barkada aka food group got together for, what else, eating, talking, and more eating. so it was a blessing that k called everyone to come to a feast, literally, since it was the feastday of san vicente, their barangay patron saint. and who are we to ever turn down such an invitation, especially if it’s coming from k. he.he. here’s the spread. i loved the orange chicken best. i think i ate half a chicken (to be fair, i skipped the pork ribs and steak this time). k’s gravy is to die for (chicken drippings, butter, flour and cream — otherwise known as a heart attack).

orange chicken
fettucine with seafood sauce
fried rice
barbecue pork ribs
fresh strawberries
apple pie a la mode
