Mutant macopa and mangga

i’ve come across some unique fruits (at least for me) this past weekend. first is what they call a type of “mangga” (mango) here. it looks like a miniature papaya and, on the tree, siniguelas. i don’t think this was ripe though, and i wasn’t really sure if it was any good, so i didn’t try it.

and then there were the macopas that looked like small apples. i’ve seen much bigger versions of these in vietnam and thailand. the ones here in mindanao are a bit smaller, and were also sour. they looked pretty delicious though. but the taste was not much to my liking.
