Peanut butter pasta

There is a lot of noodle recipes that either use crushed or whole peanuts as ingredients and toppings (pad thai, satay noodles, etc.). And there are meat stews that use peanut butter as base (like the Filipino kare-kare). I wanted to make some chicken pad thai but couldn’t find rice noodles in the grocery so I had to make do with pasta.

The ingredients are:
– 1/4 kilo chicken breast strips
– pasta, cooked per package direction
– 4 tbs. peanut butter
– 2 tbs. fish sauce
– 2 tbs. soy sauce
– crushed garlic
– broccoli sprouts
– coriander
– 1/4 cup of water
– chili flakes (optional)

First, saute the garlic in oil, put the chicken and cook a couple of minutes, put all the seasonings and water, stir and mix well. Put the broccoli flowers and the cooked pasta. Mixed well. Top with coriander. Enjoy.
