Camaru (mole crickets)

Lunch the other day was a sizzling plate of dead insects.

Crunchy on the outside. Creamy on the inside. Seasoned just right with salt, pepper, calamansi, a hint of butter.

Yum!

    Wow! I don’t know that I could eat those, LOL! I mean, I want to but I can actually SEE the crickets! Were they cooked like sisig? Sounds like it from your description.
