Balitog, South Asian style

You know that our markets are filled with the ubiquitous peanut vendors that sell fried garlic peanuts and corn, right? Well, I found similar carts in Nepal — only they use fried peas/beans and put A LOT of spices (mostly powdered chili) plus a lot of fresh onions, green peppers and potatoes. What is interesting is they serve them in the same foil packet (like that of Chippy) where they got the fried peas. Cool! I tried one piece. Was way too spicy for me.
