Baked scallops with butter and cream

 

isn’t that the perfect title for a post? baked, check! scallops, check! butter, check! cream, check! wait, wait, i missed bacon! darn! 😛

but i was happy how this turned out. at first they were rubbery, and then i realized they may be like squid, either you cook them really fast, or you cook them really really long. after quite a bit in the oven, they finally softened. 🙂

i used this as topping for spaghetti noodles. similar to what you had here (but my butter and cream sauce definitely drubs your olive oil and garlic. blech!) and here. 🙂
